Practitioner Profile

Jo completed her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in the UK in 2011. Her passion for physiotherapy stems from her love of movement, keeping active and from struggling with injuries in her childhood. Movement is Jo’s key principle and she truly believes that with the right education and training you can get the best out of your body. We only have one body to last a lifetime, so why not learn how to look after it. As a physiotherapist her passion is assessing your body and looking at how your move and re-educating movement patterns so you can prevent injuries.

Since graduating Jo has worked in a range of private practices in both Perth and Melbourne. She has worked in both the clinical and sporting areas of musculoskeletal physiotherapy. More recently Jo ran her own business in country victoria, running both a clinical pilates studio and physiotherapy practice. With a keen interest in the biomechanics of the body and women’s health, Jo combines both knowledge of pilates and sporting experience to specialise in Pre & Postnatal rehabilitation.

Jo has completed further training in both Women’s Health, Clinical Pilates, Pregnancy Pilates and Strength and Conditioning. She enjoys running group classes and working alongside mum’s and mum’s to be to ensure they have a comfortable pregnancy and an optimal postpartum recovery.

Jo has just moved to the Sunshine Coast with her husband, she loves the ocean, triathlon, staying active and exploring nature.
