Practitioner Profile
Since graduating from Cardiff University in 2022 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy, Abby has developed into a well-rounded and compassionate practitioner. Over the past three years, she has gained extensive experience within the UK National Health Service across a wide range of clinical areas, including musculoskeletal outpatients, trauma and orthopaedics, respiratory care (surgical and ICU), learning disability services, inpatient rehabilitation, and pelvic health. It was during this time that Abby discovered a passion for pelvic health, working with diverse pelvic health conditions in an outpatient setting—an area she is delighted to continue developing as part of the Alchemy team.
Her broad clinical background has shaped Abby into an adaptable, open-minded clinician who draws upon her strong foundational skills to support each client’s unique needs. She values the importance of listening, educating, and communicating clearly, ensuring that individuals feel heard and empowered as they work together to enhance their health and wellbeing through personalised care plans.
Complementing her clinical work, Abby has completed Level 1–3 Clinical Matwork Pilates training and enjoys incorporating Pilates principles into rehabilitation. She is excited to continue integrating Pilates within both pelvic health and musculoskeletal practice.
Outside of work, Abby is found in or near the sea—surfing, swimming, or spending time on the beach with family and friends.
