Practitioner Profile

Jess graduated from a Masters of Physiotherapy at Curtin University in 2014, and has since completed her Graduate Diploma in Sports Physiotherapy.

Jess has been incredibly fortunate within her physiotherapy career with the opportunity to travel internationally working with elite athletes and within culturally diverse environments. Jess has found herself working in China, the empty quarter of Saudi Arabia, amongst the European Alps as well as life changing placements in Kununurra Australia and Laos. Where language barriers were often present Jess had to learn quickly the language of the body; a skill she believed has enhanced her capabilities as a physiotherapist.

Jess has worked with elite motorbike and ski/snowboard athletes, and enjoys guiding the rehabilitation of acute injuries.  Jess also enjoys working with a person and the nuances of their chronic pain conditions. Jess believes strongly in empowering an individual to listen and be guided by their system, trusting the innate intelligence of their body in its role in healing and recovery, taking responsibility to action steps in a way that is supportive to each individual and their lifestyle.

Outside of work Jess enjoys travelling, spending time in nature, surfing, catching up with friends and family and enjoying a coffee and croissant. More and more Jess finds herself slowing down and returning to the heart of community, coming together in the beauty way for the benefit of the greater good.

Jess looks forward to meeting you in the clinic or seeing you out in the community.
